Really like it but just that some time it will not make enough Ice to Have a party but Really like it. Also it take alot of water Better if you Just Hook it up to your water line for best results

I used and I used and I used. And it never failed me. As a caterer, I pretty much abused this over the holiday season. I could not have lived without it especially when on location with out ice makers or cold water dispenser. The crush ice was a huge bonus for me. It takes a while to get warmed up and cranking but one you run it a couple of cycles it works tirelessly.

This has gotta be one of the coolest thingamajigs out there. It gives me ice cubes, crushed ice and ice water. Fantastic idea, wonder why no one else has thought of it. Have had it for about 2 months now and it's still working wonders at my dinner parties. Love it!!

This is *almost* a well designed product. It does make ice, and for the scale of the machine it does a pretty good job. The only problem is that unless you're watching the machine closely or using all the ice it can make, the ice hopper will fill and disaster will strike-- something gets stuck in the open position at that full moment, and the machine will quickly leak out whatever water you've got connected to it: a five gallon (20 liter) bottle, or your entire municipal water supply (if you've unwisely connected it to the tap.)

Water bottles can be used with the product, but they don't fit well on top. Most of the time when changing bottles about a liter of water will go squirting out of the top of the machine. Once pressures equalize, or the air bubble is purged, or whatever is causing this, the machine will stop making a mess. When water bottles are nearing empty-- 4 or 5 liters left-- the same problem will happen. Bottles don't seat well on this machine.

Also, the water bottle adapter has a further bad design: it doesn't puncture the seal on water bottles. It's too round and blunt to do that. You need to make a small hole in the seal with a knife, then the blunt end an tear through the seal.

The bottom line is that our kids love the machine, but the adults in the house hate it. Prone to leaks and poorly designed, the novelty of ice automatically from bottled water isn't worth all the mess from leaks. We get a major leak about once a week and every single time we change the water bottle. I would connect this machine to a water line only if you keep the machine siting next to a swimming pool. An empty swimming pool.

The machine will also chill only one liter of water for every ice cube cycle. Don't think you can use this as a regular water cooler-- the design limits the chilled water tank severely, and the tank can only refill during one part of the ice cube cycle. What then happens is that you run the machine to keep the water tank filling and the ice overflows-- causing a huge mess.

If you need an ice maker, just get an ice maker. If you need a water cooler, just get a water cooler. This machine combines the two concepts only in theory. If you buy it, expect problems-- and the problems will be part of it working as (poorly) designed.

Too be honest the water comes out cold but the few ice that it makes not worth it. Also after the use of ice maker, it keeps on dispensing ice. This causing a slippery, mess on the floor. The hose attachment was not easy to plumb. We had to change it and use a different set up all together. The ice catcher had no drainage so water stands still until it starts to over flow.
